ISTD Cecchetti Class Examinations Pre-Primary, Primary, Standard 1-6 and Ballet Awards Book

Cecchetti Classical Ballet Class examinations are non-regulated examinations offering a way to measure student progress within a class-based system. Teachers and students follow a standard format across levels from Pre-Primary, Primary and Class Examination 1-6 as written in the syllabus books. The examination structure offers the opportunity for students to explore the traditional classical exercises and their self-expression via improvisation sections. Candidates can segue to our Graded and Vocational syllabus as the same technical and performance skills are developed and promoted across all the suite of our exams, whilst promoting inclusivity.
